It's been so long, my blogger friend.
It's 10:00am and I've been up for an hour. I work at 3 and I feel like poo. I'd use Kate's analogy to poo being smeared on one's shoe but it's a bit gross for me at the moment. Thanks Eric and Justin for getting me hooked on Zefrank. Chris thinks I'm insane because I eagerly await the 12 upload time. But you, sports racers, understand, right? *shifty eyes*
I've completed a few more books, bringing my total to 5 completed and I'm about halfway through a 6th. V for Vandetta is good because it's dystopic and haunting. I'd like to see the movie but I hear it's crap and I don't want to destroy the eerie spot that V has created in my life. I shall let it fester there, then, without seeing Natalie Portman bald and Agent Smith/Elrond in a mask and cape destroying London. *shudder*. I'm currently reading Mean Boy by Coady. I got it at work as an uncorrected proof (free!) copy, but it's very nice looking as opposed to the usual uncorrected proofs that have huge ugly banners declaring them as such so that when you're on the subway people think you're insane and wonder where the hell one got such a weirdass looking free book. Maybe I'm projecting. Anyway, the book (about a young poet in university who idolizes his famous poetry teacher) is good and very true to how an English student experiences university. I like the analysis of poetry. Some good comedy there. I have no idea what will be read next. Maybe the 9th Sandman book, or I may just crack and buy A Million Little Pieces simply to know what all the fuss is about. On a side note, his followup (My Friend Leonard) is now a paperback. Buy! Buy (or don't, I just wanted to save you the money of buying a $30+ pretax hardcover)!
I guess that's it for now, I think. I'm going back to sleep. Ta ta!
