And It's Official

As of today, we have booked the place where our wedding will be held. Both the ceremony (in the outdoor chapel) and the reception will be at the Ancaster Old Mill.

More details to come. :)

Stupid Question...

Is Laguna Beach scripted or "Reality TV"? I've only seen bits and pieces of it, and it's far too stupid to be scripted but mindless enough to be true to the actual experiences of the young and brainless.

Does anyone know? Or curious like myself?

What the...

crap.

Seriously.

I'm so shocked (and mighty disappointed) that my highest university mark thus far is in Psychology and not English. But hey, I'm not arguing with an A+.

I've rediscovered Barenaked Ladies' Gordon. Listening to their strange humour and beautiful love songs so late at night is so... peaceful. I remember singing these songs in my Grandma's basement in grade school. Great times.

Good Tuesday to you all.

It doesn't feel like a Tuesday to me at all -- more like a sunny Saturday. Working during the day is very strange. I worked from 7am on both Sunday and Monday and I had the rest of the day off -- but at 6pm it felt like it should have been 8 or 9, so I'm completely tired right now. I don't work again until Thursday night, so sleep? No... late-night cartooning.

I'm currently on my third book of the summer. I've already finished Neil Gaiman's "A Game of You (Volume 5 in The Sandman series)," Redhill's "Fidelity (stories)" and I'm currently reading Capote's "In Cold Blood." So far, it's really good. Scary, suspenseful, great writing. The movie (Capote) was amazing as well. You should watch it.

What else is there to report? Not much, not much. Ok then... bye for now!

Done... Done... and Starting

Yayy for finished exams.

I have been encouraged by my professor to pursue grad school after giving me extremely high marks on two essays. Interesting, but not for me. I'm looking forward to NO HOMEWORK and NO ASSIGNED READINGS. But the constant stimulation of reading/studying for exams/frantically finishing essays has caused me to be SO bored right now. Well, not bored bored. Just blah.

My exam ended at 12. It's not almost 2. I have done nothing. I ate lunch, and called Chris. That's it. My plan was to come home and veg all day, but now that I'm actually doing it, it feels like I should be doing something else... I feel so unproductive. So I picked up Redhill's Fidelity (cheapo $4.99 + discount!) but can't force myself to read. Then I turned on the tv. Nothing's on, of course. I put in Spider on DVD but can't pay attention. So I turned on my computer. And I'm bored again. I think, after posting this, I will do some quality cartooning and then make a list of unread books I have accumulated over the past year. I'm so exciting, aren't I?

Hoorah for summer and working at 7am.
